Accessibility Statement

What we have done to make AutoStitch accessible, where it still falls short, and how to tell us about a barrier.

1. Our approach

We want AutoStitch to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as our reference when building the product. We have not completed a formal accessibility audit, and we do not claim conformance with any WCAG level.

2. Accessibility features

  • Pages declare their language and use headings, landmarks, labels, and ARIA attributes to describe structure and controls.
  • The home page has a “Skip to main content” link, and interactive elements show a visible focus indicator.
  • Dialogs, including sign-in and the social-account and publishing dialogs, move focus into the dialog, keep keyboard focus inside it, close with the Escape key, and return focus to where you were.
  • Clips in the classic editor can be reordered with the keyboard as well as by dragging.
  • Many animations, including on the home page and in dialogs, are reduced when your device’s reduced-motion setting is on; some loading indicators still animate.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Generated clips can include burned-in captions of the spoken audio.

3. Known limitations

  • We have not run a formal audit or a full screen-reader test of every page and workflow.
  • We do not yet run automated accessibility checks as part of every release.
  • Captions in generated clips are part of the video image. Video previews do not offer a separate, adjustable caption track or audio description.
  • Some detailed editing controls, such as timeline and framing adjustments, depend on visual feedback and may be difficult to use with a screen reader.
  • Pages from Google, TikTok, and Stripe that you visit to sign in, connect accounts, or pay are provided by those companies, and their accessibility is outside our control.

4. Report a barrier

If something in AutoStitch is hard or impossible for you to use, email kokojamgotchian007@gmail.com. It helps to include the page or feature, what happened, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We read every report and will work with you on an alternative where we can.

5. Changes to this statement

We update this statement when we make significant accessibility changes and change the “Last updated” date above.
